Went in this morning and got my copy of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories after waiting for months. D| And from what I saw in the first 40 minutes or so I played I am quite pleased. A little bummed that I haven't been struck yet with an immense feeling of "I don't want to open this door"-itus but the game creeped me out in much different ways. Like getting a phonecall through the wii speaker and hearing your daughter telling you to run for you life. When I decided to be awesome and logical and CALL 911 BECAUSE I AM IN SILENT HILL, 911 picked up and didn't halp me. Which is weird because in my dreams, whenever I call 911 it's like "WHELP."

I also love the little things they let you do. Like when riding in a car you can fiddle with the locks and roll down the windows and scoot from seat to seat, undoubtedly looking like an idiot while someone is trying to talk to you. Also, I like that it allows me to stare at people's crotches while they talk to me. I hope the game doesn't profile that behaviour and I wind up with penis-covered monsters chasing me.

The psychology exams do make me feel a little uneasy. Also, manually having to fling monsters off of you while running away is fun and gives me my .5 minutes of exercise.

Also I made my poor mum watch. Though she had to call it quits when the game text messaged me a photo of some drowned girl. Which admittedly weirded me out a little too.

In short, go play the new Silent Hill.

Went and saw Dir en Grey down at the Fillmore last night, still awesome as ever, though the crowd was less lively than last year's. Started out standing behind a fat guy in a Battlestar Galactica tee who reeked of old cheese, very glad that he moved away from me before the show started or I would not have been pleased. After he left the people in front of him fanned the gross air away. Haha. Also, one girl asked if my hair was real.

Last night my guy woke me up and sleep-asked me where I think his tax money goes. Goes to show that his Asian-ness comes out when he's unconscious.

School is wrapping up in a few weeks, and then I'll have a little bit of time to work on commissions and personal projects. But commissions first, because they don't pay me for nothing. I have been drawing quite a bit, but I can't show any of it because of contract stuff. So neer-neer. Happy Thanksgibbins.

No, seriously. This is the best Christmas ever.

I'm not kidding when I say that way back when I started on dA, back when I was a wee 13 year old, I wanted to get a DD. And to get one on my comic no less!

Yeah, so, signing onto dA to see a-bajillion messages was pretty shocking. In fact, I'm still shocked. Now I really need to get working on Amaranth.

Aaaaah!!
